Google’s Community Space strengthens the nonprofit organizations that strengthen our cities. By offering local Bay Area nonprofits access to premium event spaces in San Francisco at no cost, we provide a vital hub for civic connection and collaboration.

Steps to request a booking

1. To request a booking, your organization must go through a vetting process and be accepted as a member.

2. Membership and space use are free of cost.

3. Your organization must provide a valid certificate of insurance (COI sample) and a guest list for each event.

Who is eligible?

Organizations must be registered 501(c)(3)s in good standing that is furthering the mission of Google.org, or be a local city and county government department, and located in the Bay Area. The Bay Area includes the following counties: Alameda County, Contra Costa County, Marin County, Napa County, San Francisco county, San Mateo County, Santa Clara County, Solano County and Sonoma County. Keep in mind, we receive a large number of applications and may be unable to accept every organization.

As a member you are able to:
• Request space to host meetings and events at no charge
• Participate in Google-hosted programming

Not yet a member?

Registered Bay Area 501(c)(3)s are eligible to apply for membership. If membership is granted, your organization is eligible to use the space - free of charge (see FAQ for qualified counties).
